FBWW was contacted to completely renovate this historical water feature that was built in 1978, and designed by Isamu Noguchi. The fountain had laid dormant for nearly a decade, before FBWW brought it back to life.

This project consisted of the following scope:

• Waterproofing of the plaza and 60k gallon reservoir tank.

• Complete demolition of existing equipment and plumbing.

• Installation of brand new (up to 24") PVC plumbing lines.

• Furnished and installed brand new fountain lights and controls.

• Polishing of the stainless-steel panels.

FBWW was able to give this historical water feature a complete "face-lift" for the City of Detroit. This project was completed within six months, in preparation for the 2024 NFL draft that was hosted in Detroit, MI.
